MED-RESPONSE AND ITS ACCREDITATION
Med-Response, Inc. is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc., ACHC.
Med-Response was accredited effective February 1, 2003. It is accredited in the areas of Home Medical Equipment, Clinical Respiratory Care, and Rehabilitation Technology Supplier and Fitter services.
One of the objectives of the ACHC is to assist home care providers in improving their organization by offering recommendations and/or suggestions for consideration by the provider. These may be in areas where the standard is being met or areas outside of the standards. Standards are high and effective for the benefit of the patient and his/her care.
Med-Response has always set high standards for the care of their patients and continually strives to improve these standards daily.
Prior to being accredited by ACHC, Med-Response had attained accreditation beginning in 1996 through JCAHO, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
